Terms

The short version. Questions: [email protected].

Your work is yours

Everything you write and everything the teachers help you build — notes, plans, flashcards, bibliographies — belongs to you. Export it, delete it, take it with you.

The teachers are AI

They're good, but they can be wrong. Check important facts, especially citations and exam-board specifics, before you submit work that counts.

Academic honesty

student.study is a study tool: it explains, plans, quizzes, and gives feedback on your own work. It won't write your essay for you — and your school or university's rules on AI use are your responsibility.

Billing

Free to start. £12/month after (or £30/quarter — £10/month, or £96/year — £8/month), cancel anytime, and cancelling never deletes your work. Cancel and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.

Your account

You need to be at least 13 to use student.study, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live (or have a parent who does). Keep your password to yourself — you're responsible for what happens on your account.

Fair use

Don't abuse the service: no scraping, no reselling access, no trying to break it, no using it to harm others. Do that and we can suspend or close your account — we'll tell you why.

The legal bit

student.study is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it up and accurate, but we can't guarantee either, and we're not liable for exam results, lost work beyond what the law requires, or anything an AI teacher got wrong. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll email you before it takes effect. Keep using the service after that and you've accepted the new version.
